About Us

The Genesis Health Services Foundation inspires donors to charitably invest in the healthcare of the greater Quad Cities region. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Foundation is governed by a group of dedicated volunteers who comprise the Board of Directors.

Missy Gowey, Certified Fundraising Executive, has been leading the Foundation as the Executive Director for 14 years. Grant making is focused on the healthcare needs of the patients and families served by Genesis Health System. The Foundation's signature programs include Nursing Scholarships, Flu-Free Quad Cities, President's Circle of Care annual giving society, Genesis Legacy giving society, and the endowment for the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
