About Us

Built by Susanne Denkmann Hauberg and John Hauberg in 1910, this 15,000 square foot mansion, 8000 square foot carriage house and 10+ acre forest and terraced garden is being restored to it's former glory by a 501c3 organization, Friends of Hauberg Civic Center Foundation. The mansion is being operated as an event venue for use in weddings, retreats, corporate meeting space, celebration of life ceremonies, receptions, and many other special occasions with all proceeds going towards the renovation of the Estate. The carriage house will be used for programming for Sprouting Minds, a 501c3, for educational food gardens. The Terraced Gardens at Hauberg are being restored as an educational food garden for grades 5-12 and the 2nd floor of the carriage house has a 2600 square foot apartment which will be used for an Airbnb. We have 10 acres of wooded forest designed by Jens Jensen.
