WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS) announced U.S. Capitol Police Special Agents Crystal Griner and David Bailey are this year’s recipients of the 2017 John J. Duffy Memorial Award. The John J. Duffy Memorial Award is named for NCISS’s first President, John J. Duffy, co-founder of Per Mar Security Services. It is the council’s highest honor, and is given every other year to a person or entity outside the NCISS membership, who is being honored for their specific service, heroism or other exemplary deed. Previous “John J. Duffy Memorial Award” recipients selected this year’s honorees.

Brad Duffy, President of Security Officer Services at Per Mar and 1st Vice President of NCISS, said, "Special Agents Griner and Bailey are true heroes and I can't think of more deserving individuals to get the award named for my grandfather.
