The Quad Cities Chamber will present a special plaque in recognition of their milestone anniversary.\n\n \n\nCirca '21 Dinner Playhouse is located at 1828 3rd Ave. Rock Island\, IL 61201.\n\n \n\nAn open house will follow until 6pm.\n\n \n\nCirca '21 Dinner Playhouse is celebrating their 40th birthday\, making them the country's longest\, continuously running dinner theater\, still owned and operated by its founder! And\, their Bootleggers (performing wait staff) have been with them since the beginning\, making their Bootlegger's pre-show the longest continuously running show in the Quad Cities! The theater was built in 1921 as a vaudeville and silent movie house. Owner\, Dennis Hitchcock\, purchased the theater in 1976\, converted it to Las Vegas style table seating and opened as a professional dinner theater on June 11\, 1977.
