SUMMARY:Amazing Race Featuring Anchor Games 2014
DESCRIPTION:Are you up for a challenge? The 1st Annual Amazing Race is a course around the city designed to push participants out of their comfort zone in search of clues\, completing challenges (mental & physical) and most of all having fun! Teams of 2-5 will compete starting from Schwiebert Riverfront Park's Main Stage "racing" around Rock Island. To advance to the next checkpoint\, team will have to complete a "challenge" in order to get their next clue. Some checkpoints will be judged and some checkpoints will be an activity that must be completed. At least one member of the team must have a driver's license and their own transportation to get the team from checkpoint to checkpoint. At least one member of the team must also have a digital camera (or phone with photo capabilities). Amazing Race is suitable for families but children under the age of 10 and guests with limited mobility will find this program too strenuous. While teams are "racing"\, the main objective of this event is having fun and discovering a sense of adventure so everyone that completes is a winner and will receive a t-shirt and a Happy Joe's pizza slice with pop at the finish line. Detailed instructions will be sent out about 2 weeks in advance to registered team leaders. Fee is per person.\n\nLocation: Teams must be all checked in and ready to begin by 9:45am at Schwiebert Riverfront Park's Main Stage
