Our program will feature updates on arts-based community projects\, creative placemaking strategies and insight on future projects that make the Quad Cities a place where people love to work\, live\, and play!\n\n\n	Non-Profit Arts and Culture Organizations in the Quad Cities have an economic impact of over $71 Million annually!\n	68% of tourism in the U.S. is driven by the art! Better yet\, cultural tourists spend nearly twice as much money!\n	Public Art and Placemaking are more important to younger demographics (Millennials and Gen Z) when making decisions on where to live and work. \n\n\nMeet Our Speakers:\n\n\n\nKevin Maynard\, Executive Director | Quad City Arts\n\n\n\nKevin L. Maynard is the Executive Director of Quad City Arts. A passionate advocate for the arts with more than 10 years' experience in arts management and philanthropy\, he believes the arts are essential to a healthy community--driving tourism\, the economy\, and improving our quality of life.\n\n\n\nPrior to joining Quad City Arts\, Maynard served as Executive Director of The Orpheum Theatre in Galesburg\, Illinois where he led a successful community campaign to renovate the 100-year-old theatre. Maynard holds a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration from Western Illinois University. Maynard also serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Presenters Network. \n\n\n\nQuad City Arts is a non-profit arts organization serving a six-county area in eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois. We are dedicated to the growth and vitality of the Quad City region through the presentation\, development\, and celebration of the arts by offering the community arts opportunities\, programming\, and community events.\n\n\n\n\n\nTyson Danner\, Executive Director | River Music Experience\n\n\n\nOriginally from the Quad Cities area\, Tyson received his B.A. in Music from St. Ambrose University. He has worked in the nonprofit field in various capacities since 2007\, serving theatre\, visual arts\, and music organizations. Tyson is actively involved in the Quad Cities arts and nonprofit community and dedicates his time to building a better community through arts and culture.\n\n\n\nEnhanced sanitation measures for in-person events\n\nWe are very excited to host AMp Up as an in-person event and want to ensure that everyone has the confidence to make the most of attending. \n\n\n	Due to new guidance from the CDC and local health departments for areas with rising COVID-19 transmission levels\, the Quad Cities Chamber is deploying CDC-recommended guidelines at our events.\n	Click here for the Chamber's COVID-19 protocols.\n	Masks are required at the event unless actively eating or drinking. \n\n\n\n\nAMp Up is your opportunity to hear what's going on in our region.
