DESCRIPTION:Head downtown on Thursday\, August 3rd from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM where folks will be dancin' in the street! Don Estes and the Prairie Ramblers\, with the help of Bos Sound\, will be playing live jazz for the Davenport Public Library's annual Bix Porch Party at the Main Street Library (321 Main Street). Bring your lawn chairs as we block off Main Street for some good old-fashioned fun.\n\n\n\nWhile you're enjoying the live music\, kids can enjoy activities including FREE face painting from Laura Anderson of Clown-A-Round! Teen Volunteer Council will be providing hot dogs and lemonade\, welcoming any donations that will go toward enriching the teen experience at the Davenport Public Library.\n\n\n\nBut wait: there's more! At 1:00 pm in the Large Meeting Room located on the lower level of the library\, author of the new Bix Biederbecke biography ?Finding Bix\, ?will do a short reading & signing of his new book! How cool is that?
