DESCRIPTION:Please join The Davenport Community School District in celebrating a series of renovation projects at North High School\, totaling $2.2 million.  The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at North High School\, located at 626 West 53rd St. Davenport\, IA 52806\, on Tuesday\, December 10th at 12:00pm.  http://mapq.st/18B0fJt.   North High School was originally built as a junior high school in 1972.  The recent renovation has included the IMC (school library)\, music rooms and the Family & Consumer Science classrooms.  The funding of the approximately 5500 sq. ft. renovation came from the Statewide penny sales tax funds which are allocated to Iowa public school districts for infrastructure renovation and new construction.
