DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday\, September 26th at 4:00pm\, there will be a dedication of the Duck Creek Trail to honor former Mayor\, Bill Glynn. The event will be held at the Middle Park Lagoon\, located 3 blocks east of 18th Street on Parkway Drive\, at the Shelter area. Bill Glynn was Mayor of Bettendorf from 1974 to 1988. He was instrumental in helping to start this trail which runs 4.2 miles along Duck Creek\, from the western city limits with Davenport\, to the eastern border of Riverdale at State Street. The first section of the trail in Bettendorf was constructed in 1981\, and is now part of a large network of trails that serves the entire Quad City Community.
