DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Davenport Partnership will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the works of two artists\, Liam O'Neill and Dean Kugler on Thursday\, October 30 at 1:00 p.m. The ribbon cutting will take place at  The RiverCenter (South)\, 136 E. 3rd St. Davenport\, IA 52801.   Liam O'Neill's recently completed wood-turning sculpture\, "Sugar Maple Throne\," will be moving from the Figge Art Museum to the RiverCenter for public interaction. Dean Kugler's enormous "Gravity" sculpture\, which was created at Bucktown and recently featured at Art Prize\,  will also be housed in the RiverCenter for public viewing.  The Downtown Davenport Partnership is proud to add these pieces of art to the downtown landscape. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with Liam and Dean and ask questions about their work.
