This will be held in the grassy area just off the Davenport Skybridge (Main Street and River Drive in Davenport\, IA)\n\n \n\nWhat:  Join Mayor Mike Matson\, members of the Davenport City Council\, City leadership and our community partners for a celebration to officially break ground at the site of Main Street Landing on the Davenport Riverfront.\n\n \n\nMain Street Landing is a 10-acre park between Main Street and the roller dams designed with play areas\, water features\, and a multi-use plaza for four seasons of adventure along the river.\n\n \n\nThe event will include remarks by Mayor Matson\, Chad Dyson\, Director of Parks Y Recreation\, Clay Merritt\, Director of Engineering & Capital Projects\, and Dave Herrell\, President and CEO of Visit Quad Cities.\n\n \n\nSpecial thanks to the team at Valley Construction\, the contractor selected by the Davenport City Council to lead the construction of this multi-million-dollar attraction.\n\n \n\nWhen: April 3\, 2025 at 1:00 PM\n\n \n\nWhere: Main Street Landing\, in the grassy area just off the Davenport Skybridge
