Two Rivers YMCA\, 2040 53rd Street Moline\, IL 61265\, will host a groundbreaking ceremony on October 12th at 11am to mark the beginning of construction on a $3.4 million renovation and expansion project

Following a successful capital campaign earlier this year\, the capital improvement project consists of the addition of a two-story Children’s Adventure Center\, an additional Pre-K classroom\, adding multi-purpose space\, a complete remodel the south lobby/welcome center and added space to the Sylvan. Kelly and Associates\, East Moline\, has been selected as the architect and Estes Construction as general contractor.
Two Rivers YMCA has experienced significant a twenty-percent growth in membership since 2010. This growth is a result of income-based membership pricing that removes barriers to membership\, providing people of all income levels the opportunity to learn\, grow and thrive at the Y. The capital renovation and expansion will allow Two Rivers YMCA to continue to support growing community needs. \;
