DESCRIPTION:Legislative Coffee: Workforce readiness and early childhood education\n\nFriday\, February 21 | 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.\n\nThe Axis Hotel |  Moline\, IL\n\nThe first Legislative Coffee event of 2020 will focus on workforce readiness and early childhood education\, two of the Chamber's legislative priorities this year.\n\nWe'll ask a panel of Iowa and Illinois state representatives and senators about the public policies and initiatives they're advocating for to develop\, attract and retain our workforce   from education funding and reforms to quality of life projects. We'll also ask them about their work to increase access to affordable and adequate early childhood care\, which is a workforce issue as well as an education and quality of life issue. \n\nAttendees are encouraged to come prepared with questions related to these legislative priorities. \n\nConfirmed legislators: \n\n\n	Iowa Sen.
