DESCRIPTION:Please help us welcome Laura Smidt\, Eastern Iowa Coordinator for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society\, with a ribbon cutting on Thursday\, January 26th at 11:30am at the Davenport office of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce (the office is located at the corner of 2nd Street and Main Street in downtown Davenport).  Although LLS joined the Chamber last year\, the closest representation has been in Iowa City.  Laura is new to the area and will be living and working in Davenport.   The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia\, lymphoma\, Hodgkins disease and myeloma and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.  LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services.
