DESCRIPTION:Midwest Animal Assisted Therapy & Education Organization a non-profit animal assisted activities in the healthcare profession corporation\, is very excited to announce the Official Opening of our Community Outreach Center at NorthPark Mall. Located between J.C. Penny and Von Maur\, the Community Outreach Center will be a place where the community can relax\, reset and recover from the effects of Covid-19\, storms\, changes at school or any other emotion that is interfering your daily life. There are plenty of studies that show Animal Assisted Activities in the healthcare profession reduce anxiety\, stress and depression and increases the quality of life. Stop in for a tour and see the rooms that are available for teachers and students\, learning pods\, daycare events\, adult daycare events\, special needs daycare events\, and more. And of course our animal ambassadors will be available for you to interact with. Individuals\, families and friends are welcome. The facility is run under CDC guidelines and in communication with the Scott County Department of Public Health. We look forward to meeting you and serving our community.
