A new investor prospectus will also be unveiled at the event to highlight our region's assets and advantages.\n\n \n\nIndustries strongly encouraged to attend include those in wealth and financial management\, real estate development\, business development\, and anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit.  \n\n     \n\nThe Opportunity Zones incentive is a new community investment tool established by Congress to encourage long-term investments in communities nationwide. Opportunity Zones provide a tax incentive for investors to re-invest their unrealized capital gains into dedicated Opportunity Funds. All of the underlying incentives relate to the tax treatment of capital gains\, and all are tied to the longevity of an investor's stake in a qualified Opportunity Fund.\n\n \n\nThis event was made possible via collaboration of the Quad Cities Chamber and City of Davenport with support and sponsorship by Lane & Waterman LLP.\n\n\n\nSpace is limited to approximately 50 attendees.
