DESCRIPTION:Humility of Mary Housing\, Inc. in Davenport will have a ribbon cutting on Thursday\, November 3\, 2011 at 3pm to celebrate a new location and remodel. This is a supportive housing program for single parent families\; provides services and housing to 47 families at 16 properties\; services include a food pantry and clothing and donation area where families can get things for their apartments as well as paper products\, cleaning products\, personal hygiene products\; serves the greater Quad City-area\; provides opportunities for growth and development that can take families from homelessness to self-sufficient living\; provides the foundation upon which the families can build the rest of their lives\; children learn there is a different way to live. This is located east of Dahl Ford and two buildings north of Habitat ReStore.
