SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the New Section of Crow Creek Recreation Trail
DESCRIPTION:Please join the Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Department in celebrating the expansion of the Crow Creek Recreation Trail on Wednesday\, October 23rd at 5:00pm - Located at Crow Creek Park\, 4701 Devils Glen Rd. Bettendorf\, IA 52722.  http://mapq.st/1772hAl.  Jeanna Trenkamp\, Program and Events Coordinator\, will be speaking on behalf of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce.   The new section runs from Crow Creek in Crow Creek Park approximately 0.7 miles east to Middle Road where it connects with the Middle Road Separated Trail.  This latest addition to the trails system runs through a variety of natural areas.   Parking will be available in Crow Creek Park at the Quarry and the parking lot near ball field #4.  Golf carts will be available at those locations to access the ribbon cutting site\, or a short walk will also get you to the site.  Please bring your walking shoes!
