This new clinic joins our other Express Care clinics in Moline\, Bettendorf\, and Muscatine\, in offering the popular Reserve Your Spot option. People may soon visit unitypoint.org and reserve a time at a location that most convenient for them to be seen by a provider.\n\n"We are excited to offer an Express Care option in Rock Island on our existing hospital campus. The location and the ability to reserve a spot online will make care easier for people who have minor illnesses or injuries\," said Tara Schulz\, Director of Clinic Operations\, UnityPoint Clinic.\n\nUnityPoint Clinic Express Care   Rock Island offers extended and weekend hours. The clinic will be open seven days a week\, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.\, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. \n\nWhen health concerns arise\, it is best to contact your primary care provider\, who can then direct you on the best course of action. But when health issues arise after hours\, on weekends or during the holidays\, visiting your primary provider may not be an option. \n\n\n\nWhile not every illness or injury requires a trip to the emergency room (ER)\, there are times when emergency services are needed. Emergency rooms are available 24 hours a day\, seven days a week. You should seek emergency care for limb- or life-threatening conditions\, including intense chest pain\, profuse bleeding\, difficulty breathing\, severe headaches\, seizures lasting longer than five minutes\, intense abdominal pain and other serious medical issues. \n\n\n\nFor minor illnesses or injuries\, Urgent/Express Care clinics are the best choice. Walk-in and Urgent/Express Care clinics are available after hours\, on weekends and during holidays.
