DESCRIPTION:The Arc of the Quad Cities\, located at 5101 52nd Ave. Moline\, IL 61265\, will be hosting a ribbon cutting event for their new ASD room at their Opportunity Center on Thursday\, February 13th at 2:00pm.   The Arc was founded in 1952 by a group of parents of children with developmental disabilities who wanted their children’s abilities to be respected and their independence encouraged.  As a leading advocate and service provider for people with intellectual and developmental  disabilities\, The Arc of the Quad Cities is proud of their accomplishments in expanding opportunities to those with disabilities.   The ASD room will be located at the Opportunity Center\, one of the ARC’s sites for vocational training .  The room will serve those with a diagnosis or autism.
