DESCRIPTION:The Paddling Pooch\, 2491 53rd St. Bettendorf\, IA 52722\, will celebrate their grand opening with a ribbon cutting on Thursday\, October 23 at 4:00 p.m.  The Paddling Pooch brings warm water canine hydrotherapy to the Quad Cities.  Canine hydrotherapy uses a low-impact water environment to improve chronic health problems\, pre-surgery conditioning\, post-surgery recovery and general fitness of dogs.  Hydrotherapy improves conditions such as arthritic joints\, chronic pain\, circulatory problems\, obesity\, hip and elbow dysplasia\, lameness\, mobility problems and more.  Until now\, to receive hydrotherapy\, a dog and its owner had to travel to the Chicago area or Central Iowa.  The Paddling Pooch is excited to finally provide this great service and more locally.
