DESCRIPTION:Trimble Pointe\, located at 701 12th St. Moline\, IL 61265\, will host a grand opening ribbon cutting on Thursday\, July 31st at 4:30 p.m.  Trimble Pointe will be the new home of Trimble Funeral Home and Crematory and CityView Celebrations.  The facility will be a multipurpose building designed to host a variety of life events and celebrations.  The 140 year Trimble legacy continues with a fresh 21st century flair.   In addition to the ribbon cutting ceremony on July 31st\, Trimble Pointe has invited the public to tour all rooms of the facilities on Saturday\, August 2nd from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Sunday\, August 3rd from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.  CityView Celebrations at Trimble Pointe is a fully licensed reception center for small and medium-sized celebrations.  CityView Celebrations offers two levels for events\, including the upper level Horizon Room which can seat up to 250 persons for wedding ceremonies.  The lower level can accommodate up to 160 persons for dinner with a full bar for guests.  With a separate entrance and parking\, CityView is available for community meetings and celebrations\, as well as funeral luncheons and hospitality visitations.
