Matt will provide insights and updates on the Rock Island Arsenal Defense Alliance (RIADA) legislative priorities which align the activities at Rock Island Arsenal with the National Defense Strategy and Army modernization priorities. RIADA is dedicated to preserving and growing one of our region's top employers\, the Rock Island Arsenal and advocating for these priorities helps further RIA's position in supporting our nation's defense and our region's economy.\n\n \n\nRock Island Arsenal Defense Alliance (RIADA) priorities include:\n\n	Innovation at the Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence\n	Sustaining workload at RIA-JMTC (Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center)\n	Support sustaining missions for other components of Rock Island Arsenal to include Joint Munitions Command (JMC)\, First Army and Army Sustainment Command (ASC)\n	Support adequate facilities and resiliency on Rock Island Arsenal\n	Support further investment in workforce development and enhancement opportunities for defense manufacturing communities\n\n \n\nMeet Our Speaker:\n\n\n\nMatthew Herrmann\, Senior Advisor | The Roosevelt Group\n\n \n\nMatthew Herrmann is a senior advisor at The Roosevelt Group representing a wide range of clients on Congressional appropriations and authorization matters\, federal budget process\, strategic planning\, strategic communications\, Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC)\, and Indo-Asia-Pacific policy matters. Prior to joining the Roosevelt Group\, in June 2017\, Mr. Herrmann worked for more than 10 years on Capitol Hill and served as Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo (Guam)\, the Ranking Member of the Readiness Subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee.
