Join us as we hear from Mike Miller of River Bend Foodbank and Dwight Ford of Project NOW as they share insights into how their organizations are impacting our community.\n\n\n\nNetworking returns! At the end of the program\, we will host a networking session where attendees will have the opportunity to go into virtual breakout rooms to meet fellow attendees and establish new business contacts. Following a career in industry\, he has been in food banking since 2008\, as the COO of Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana and Vice President of Operations of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank prior to assuming his current role in 2015. Mike serves on the boards of Feeding Illinois and the Iowa Food Bank Association\, and he is presently the Vice Chair of Feeding America's National Council\, the national network of food banks. \n\n\n\nDwight Ford | Executive Director\, Project NOW\n\nReverend Dwight Ford is an innovative leader\, author\, thought-provoker\, and public theologian. He is affectionately known as "The People's Pastor" for his commitment to vulnerable populations and impoverished communities.\n\nReverend Ford successfully completed a six-year military career in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Illinois University\, with a concentration in Business Management and Leadership. He also holds the Master of Divinity degree from Harvard University in Cambridge\, MA.\n\nRev. Ford currently serves as the Executive Director for Project NOW. In his most recent positions\, Rev. Ford served as the Executive Director of Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership in Omaha\, Nebraska and The Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Rock Island\, Illinois. Reverend Ford is an ordained Baptist minister of the National Baptist Convention\, USA. Inc.\, and has served in pastoral ministry for over 23 years. He is the founder and pastor of Grace City Church in Moline\, Illinois. When Pastor Ford is not in his regular role in the pulpit of Grace City\, he can be found traveling throughout the United States as a minister of the Gospel and public speaker to churches\, colleges and community organizations.
