DESCRIPTION:The St. Ambrose University Center for Professional Development is a certified Project Management Institute  (PMI) Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.). Classes utilize elements of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK  Guide) developed by the Project Management Institute  (PMI). Upon completion of the St. Ambrose Project Management Certificate\, our students will obtain the professional development units (PDUs) necessary to sit for the Project Management Professional   (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management   (CAPM) exams.\n\n\n\nOur curriculum is designed to provide a scalable project management system for managing projects of all shapes and sizes - regardless of industry. Our PM Certificate program includes elements such as project initiation\, scope\, management of stakeholders\, quality\, resources\, risk\, schedule\, cost\, negotiations\, communication\, leadership and conflict.\n\n\n\nProgram meets virtually\, weekly on Wednesday evenings from 9/30/20-11/18/20. Participants can expect 1-2 hours of independent work each week in addition to class time.
