DESCRIPTION:Western Illinois University - Quad Cities\, will celebrate the grand opening of Phase II of their Riverfront campus on Wednesday\, September 3 at 4:00 p.m.  Phase II project will house academic programs in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences\, Education and Human Services and Fine Arts and Communication. Phase I of the Riverfront campus\, opened in January 2012\, houses the College of Business and Technology\, including the School of Engineering\; academic and student services\; and University Administration. Following Wednesday's ribbon cutting celebration\, Western Illinois University will provide music and entertainment\, refreshments\, and campus tours to all in attendance.
