A 5k run or walk option is available\, as well as a 1-mile fun run. What makes this event unique is that in addition to the race element\, there is a special recognition ceremony for Race Against Racism Honorees. Nominations are encouraged and accepted for individuals who are actively taking a stand against racism either through their words\, actions or volunteerism and inspiring change which has had a positive impact on our community. Anyone can nominate anyone and out of all nominations\, ten outstanding individuals will be recognized for their efforts in this very important cause.\n\n\n\nYou're invited to join YWCA Quad Cities\, together with our generous sponsors\, as we take a stand against racism.
