About Us

Bleeding Disorders of the Heartland (BDH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals and families affected by inherited bleeding disorders throughout Iowa and surrounding Heartland communities. Through education, advocacy, support, youth and family programming, and opportunities for connection, BDH helps individuals build confidence, access resources, and develop lifelong support networks. Our mission is simple: To educate, connect and support those affected with bleeding disorders.
