We are a metals service center that operates in three segments; carbon steel flat products, specialty metals flat products and tubular and pipe products. We provide metals processing and distribution services for a wide range of customers. Our commitment to providing outstanding service is enhanced by a network of interconnected processing facilities, able to supply metals products across the Americas. With our 30+ strategically located facilities in North America, and a manufacturing footprint of more than 3.7 million square feet, we offer a portfolio of value-added processing of metals.
Our carbon flat products segment’s focus is on the direct sale and distribution of large volumes of processed carbon and coated flat-rolled sheet, coil and plate products, and fabricated parts.
Our specialty metals flat products segment’s focus is on the direct sale and distribution of processed aluminum and stainless flat-rolled sheet and coil products, flat bar products and fabricated parts.
Through our tubular and pipe products segment, which consists of our Chicago Tube & Iron (CTI) subsidiary we distribute metal tubing, pipe, bar, valves and fittings and fabricate pressure parts supplied to various industrial markets.

Olympic Steel provides services and functions that form an integral component of our customers' supply chains. By reducing inventory levels and increasing efficiency, we help lower our customers overall production costs.

Our processing services include both traditional service center processes including cutting to length, temper passing, stretcher leveling, slitting and shearing, as well as value-added processes & fabrication services, such as blanking, plate burning, precision machining, forming, welding, painting and kitting. We also perform toll processing of customer-owned metals.
