IHMVCU nationally recognized for outstanding marketing achievements
Quad Cities, USA (3/17/22)IHMVCU ($1.8B assets; 140,000 members) was recently honored with five highly-regarded Diamond Awards for their marketing and business development efforts.
Widely recognized as the most prestigious annual credit union marketing competition, the Diamond Awards, presented by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council, honor creative excellence and outstanding results in the credit union industry.
This is the third year in a row IHMVCU’s been recognized; this year bringing home a recording-breaking five awards in four categories.
They earned an esteemed Category’s Best distinction in the One-Time Event category for the execution of their member communications surrounding their System Upgrade. “We knew our biggest challenge would be having all locations closed for three days, so it was critical to keep members informed, help them prepare and offer steps to minimize the impact. We understood the upgrade would impact members very differently, so it was important to make sure our communications were specific to the different needs of our members,” said Amy Orr, VP Marketing.
IHMVCU brought home four other Diamond Awards in the categories of Multi-faceted with their MemBEER Advantage promotion, Digital Advertising with an ad from their award-winning Pathfinder Magazine, Annual Reports with their 2020 IHMVCU Annual Report and finally a One-Time Event award for their internal messaging around their System Upgrade.
The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council is a national network comprised of more than 1,000 credit union marketing and business development professionals across the country. The competition was fierce, with nearly 1,200 entries submitted across 35 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond.
