Hello, we are EatFuti, the local app for local eats. Think of EatFuti as the dating app for food in your local area. Can’t figure out where to order takeout? EatFuti has recommendations. Want to leave it up to the app? Spin the wheel for a mystery restaurant to try. Want nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, raw, vegetarian food or a kids’ menu? Add that to your filters. Need something close? EatFuti can narrow down choices to within a mile away or as far out as 10 miles.

Most of the restaurants that participate on the EatFuti app feature international cuisines. Tin Lam, the co-founder and CEO behind the app, was born in Vietnam and immigrated to Des Moines with his mother at age 10 without knowing a lick of English. His struggles communicating helped him decide to help restaurateurs get their food out to more people. While everyone was relying on online ordering, he noticed that some smaller, local restaurants lacked a digital presence. He built EatFuti to offer delivery from those restaurants, as well as extra services.
