Activities between the Big (adult) and the Little (child) are at little to no cost. For elementary Littles, the Big can spend time over lunch at school with them which is a great way to interact and spend time together. Once they are in middle grades and high school, activities such as outdoor activities, getting ice cream, attend sporting events are some great ideas. Also, for all ages there are quarterly free BBBS facilitated activities. In addition, BBBS has partnerships with the YMCA, Figgie Art Museum, TBK Sports Complex just to name a few that can be a fun way to spend time together too! -If choose to do so, can meet outside of school at BBBS facilitated activities or something of interest to both of you

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Mississippi Valley is in need of Bigs (adults) as we have over 200 Littles (children) on a waiting list to be matched. To be a Big, it can take anywhere from 2-4 times a month to help a child ages 5-14 reach their potential in areas such as self esteem, sense of future, school performance, and self-confidence!
