Description
There are numerous pathogens that can be transmitted by contacting the blood or body fluids of an infected individual. This training is designed to inform workers on how to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens, how to react in emergency situations involving bloodborne pathogens, how to properly decontaminate a site, and what to do if a worker is exposed. This training will also cover proper labeling of potentially infectious materials and proper disposal of sharps and other potentially infectious waste. Call 563.441.4100 to register.
