Communicating with a person living with dementia can be challenging for family members, caregivers, and customer-facing employees. LivWell Seniors is hosting a Lunch & Learn focusing on giving practical tips and strategies to help improve those interactions. Held in conjunction with Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, speakers include Megan Olsen of the Alzheimer’s Association, Amy Gutknecht of Dementia Friendly, and Carole Ferch and Christina McDonough from the Scott County Health Department. The FREE event will be held at noon, Tuesday, June 23, at CASI, Center for Active Seniors, 1035 W Kimberly Rd., Davenport, Iowa.
