The greatest differentiator in a community is the people who are in love with their city, according to Peter Kageyama, author, For the Love of Cities.

Kageyama is the co-founder and producer of the Creative Cities Summit, an interdisciplinary event that brings together citizens and practitioners around the big idea of the city. He also is a certified Innovation Coach, has traveled the world speaking about issues of local community development, talent attraction and retention, and creative industries development, had a brief stint as an attorney, and launched one of the first web development firms in 1995 called Cyberscapes Interactive.

Kageyama will discuss how to create more engaged citizens without major resources, the role of technology and social media, where the "Most Lovable" cities are and what we can learn from them, and how we're prime to enhance our Quad Cities love affair.
