A Family Friendly Super Bowl Experience at River Bend Food Bank. During the open house event, families are invited to enjoy tailgating-themed food and interactive games, while also connecting to the mission of the food bank by bringing some canned goods from their cupboards and helping sort food that will go to feed people experiencing hunger in our local communities. About the event, Vice President Jenny Colvin shared, “We had such an incredible time opening our doors to the community during our Expansion Open House last August, we thought it was time to invite the whole family in.” She went on to add, “We want to cultivate relationships in our local communities that encourage everyone to consider how we can all come together to end hunger, and giving families an opportunity to do this together is the best possible place for us to start.” The event will also host special guests Rascal the River Bandits’ mascot and members of the Deckmate Dancers from the Quad City Steamwheelers.
