Description
This is the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley's 2nd annual Get Hooked Fishing Derby! All funds raised support our programs to help youth in the Quad Cities. Shore fishing only! Anyone, any age can participate.
The water will be stocked with restaurant quality catfish, and 350 of these fish will be tagged to represent various prizes. The grand prize is a 2017 Honda CR-V EX from Zimmerman Honda!! Participants can pay a $10 admission fee that will limit them to only winning small prizes, or a $25 admission fee that will allow them to win any of the prizes!
**Participants must be 18 years or older to win the vehicle.
This year's event will be limited to 600 participants, and additional shoreline will be available.
No fishing license required for event participants!
Food, beverages and bait will be available for purchase! Please bring your own tackle. Activities for kids will be going on throughout the morning, including a casting contest and minnow races!
