Description
How Additive Manufacturing Enhances Robotics
Presented by members of the QC FIRST Alliance
Join us for the next Additive Manufacturing Users Group when four teams from the QC FIRST Alliance present about how additive manufacturing has enhanced their experience in robotics.
QC FIRST Alliance is a community-based group that participates in robotics through a worldwide organization named FIRST, For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. The QC First Alliance represents seven different school districts from around the Quad Cities area, with teams meeting out of the Arconic Learning Center in Bettendorf.
Teams presenting at the event include Flourish and Bots (FLL), Winter Soldiers (FTC), Robo Minions (FTC), and QC Elite – The Flaming Squirrels.
Each group will present:
About the Additive Manufacturing Users Group
Additive Manufacturing technology will change the face of manufacturing by replacing future processes and is on pace to emerge as an established trend on shop floors. The Quad Cities Manufacturing Innovation Hub has developed a Technology Roadmap of eight transformative technologies; one of these -- Additive Manufacturing -- has been identified as a breakthrough opportunity that will have an impact on our region's competitiveness. To accelerate our region's learning and investment, an Additive Manufacturing Users Group has been formed.
Why attend? Hear from local experts on best practices of this state-of-the-art technology. No matter what your knowledge level, this night will offer an opportunity to build your understanding of this game-changing technology and its business benefits.
