Hub Huddle: Elevate Advanced Manufact...
Description
Hub Huddles are an opportunity for manufacturing leaders to share, on a peer-to-peer basis, best practices for growth and strategies to overcoming challenges.
About the speaker:
Alexandra Monaghan is the Elevate Advanced Manufacturing Program Coordinator. She spends her work days traveling the state to spread a positive perception of the manufacturing industry by connecting K-12 students and educators to Iowa community colleges and manufacturers to help fill the skills gap in the state.
Alex's interest in manufacturing began prior to Elevate. Alex worked for Northeast Iowa Community College where she focused on building relationships with manufacturing companies in rural areas.
Alex grew her roots in Manchester, Iowa. She attended Kirkwood Community College then proceeded to graduate from the University of Northern Iowa with a Communication Studies degree in 2015.
