Hub Huddle: Leveraging Virtual Realit...
Description
Hub Huddles are an opportunity for manufacturing leaders to share, on a peer-to-peer basis, best practices for growth and strategies to overcoming challenges.
Leveraging Virtual Reality in the Built Environment
Rebecca Jourdan, Shive-Hattery, & Rebecca Frangipane, Russell
NOTE: This Hub Huddle will be held at 4620 E. 53rd St., Davenport, Iowa.
Join us at the next Hub Huddle when representatives from Shive-Hattery and Russell talk about how customers can step inside their new space before they build it with Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) led Virtual Reality environments. From new buildings, additions, or small renovations, Shive-Hattery and Russell use the latest technology to allow project stakeholders to interact visually with how the project is planned, built, and operated.
About our speakers:
Rebecca Frangipane, Director of Virtual Construction, Russell
Becca brings to the Russell team over 11 years in industry experience, including 3.5 years in Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) experience. By bringing 3D building model data and standard construction means and methods together, her team can begin to gather more detail quantities for better pricing, visualize the construction phases and schedule to reduce time, and find the most efficient solutions to problems before they reach the field. They will virtually construct your project before physical construction begins!
Rebecca’s main project responsibilities include leveraging the latest technology to identify issues early in construction, solving problems, and creating efficient results. She also manages the VDC across all of Russell’s projects, provides renderings and animations for project pursuits and marketing, and assists with 4D scheduling and model quantity takeoffs.
Rebecca Jourdan, Interior Designer, Shive-Hattery
For over sixteen years Rebecca has been shaping interior environments, performing a wide range of interior design services for a variety of market segments. She is always finding opportunities to improve her education and regularly attends conferences and professional associations throughout the year such as IIDA, Neocon, and local chamber events. The past two years she has presented at the Leading Age conference in IL. Rebecca has been recognized nationally and awarded for her interior designs throughout the state of Illinois and Iowa.
