Description
Ignite Quad Cities Open Coffee Meetup
Face It: Creating Your Facebook Presence Matters
When someone searches for your business online, what do they find? Chances are good the first page they’ll find (next to your website, if you have one), is your Facebook page. It’s a welcome mat for your business and an extension of your brand.
Bring your laptops to this interactive presentation so you can dive into the must-have items on your company’s Facebook page and make edits to your own page before you head out for your morning!
• Learn what parts of your business Facebook page are most important for you to consider
• Discuss creative ways to reach your audience
• Get hands-on to take action on your own page (and give feedback to your peers)
FREE to attend
About our Speaker:
Melissa Pepper is passionate about helping people tell their stories. Founder of Pep Talk Public Speaking, she enjoys helping her clients craft presentations that inspire action. She also works to connect individuals and businesses with the resources they need to be successful, which led her to her role as Business Development Partner at Total Solutions, an outsourced service company. Prior to joining Total Solutions, Melissa was Director of Marketing & Client Relations at the law firm Lane & Waterman.
Melissa developed a passion for the Quad Cities during her time at Augustana College, and she enjoys volunteering her time to several causes. She is the founder of Lead(h)er, a nonprofit organization that matches women with mentors. She also mentors start-up founders through the University of Iowa Entrepreneurial Center. Melissa dedicates time to United Way’s Young Leaders United, Q2030 and its Make It Here committee, the Genesis Foundation Board of Directors, the American Marketing Association’s Iowa Board of Directors, IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee, and the Genesis Health System’s Quality and Safety Committee. In 2016, she received the Nation of Neighbors Award from Royal Neighbors of America. Melissa lives in Davenport with her husband Dan and three-year old son Grayson. They are excited to welcome another Pepper boy to their family in October this year.
