The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce is fortunate to have a strong volunteer base that embodies hundreds of  individuals. There are dozens of opportunities to be a leader and acquire invaluable experience, connect with other members, and shape and advance the work of the Chamber.

Joe Slavens, President, Northwest Bank & Trust is one of the most valued volunteer leaders in the Quad Cities. Recently nominated as Treasurer of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, he embodies trust, integrity, commitment, passion for the region and is known to get things done. Joe serves on Quad Cities First; the Chamber’s business attraction arm and was catalyst in bringing together thought leaders that resulted in the successful merger of the Quad Cities Economic Development Group, Iowa and Illinois Chambers and the formation of the Quad Cities Chamber.
