PURSES PINOT & PEARLS is an inaugural fundraising event dedicated to three things most women love. This event will offer a casual, relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy hearty appetizer and cocktails while perusing the silent auction items. Also offered will be a wine pull and live auction. Mollie Openshaw of Mood Swing Wines will be our special guest and Emcee. Proceeds from this event allows The YWCA QUAD CITIES to continue serving over 225 youth daily in programs such as theplace2b, a drop-in central for homeless and at-risk youth, Youth Empowerment Program, Youth STEM Program and the Youth Scholarship Program. Located in downtown Rock Island, with an outreach office at Rock Island High School, The YWCA QUAD CITIES has spent the last 100+ years working to build strong communities that eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice and dignity for all.
