The Capitol Theatre will host a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, July 12 at 3:00 pm. They are located at 330 W. 3rd Street in Davenport.
The Capitol Theatre will be celebrating the Grand Re-Opening as an entertainment venue. They plan to begin shows (potentially comedy, music, films and dance) in September of this year. The nearly 103-year-old, 1,500-seat theater has been rigorously, lovingly renovated to its former glory, as part of the $24-million restoration and transformation of the 10-story Kahl Building.
