Ribbon Cutting - MetroLINK and East Moline Public Library EV Charging Station

Please join us for a ribbon cutting Thursday, September 24th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at 745 16th Avenue, East Moline, IL 61244. 

MetroLINK, in partnership with the City of East Moline Public Library, has installed two (2) Level 3, public facing, fast charging stations at the City of East Moline Public Library. The charging stations can charge up to four electric vehicles simultaneously, charging each vehicle in just under an hour. This important economic investment brings visitors to the City of East Moline Public Library, where they can enjoy library amenities, as well as downtown East Moline
