Ribbon Cutting - MetroLINK- Channel Cat

MetroLINK will host a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, June 5, at 10 a.m. at the Village of East Davenport Channel Cat dock, 2100 E. River Dr., to celebrate the completion of a new dock, pedestrian bridge, and landside improvements, and to officially announce the reopening of the dock to passengers.

The event will recognize the collaborative effort to improve access, connectivity, and the overall passenger experience along the Mississippi riverfront. Community leaders, project partners, Davenport officials, and MetroLINK representatives will provide remarks highlighting the importance of improvements and the continued investment in regional transportation and transportation infrastructure.

Overflow parking is in the Village of East Davenport across the street. 
 
Channel Cat was established in 1995 and provides passenger ferryboat transportation in the Quad Cities. MetroLINK has 150 employees.
