Ribbon Cutting - Park Vista North Hill

Park Vista North will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 29 at 3:00 pm. They are located at 1451 20^th Avenue in East Moline, IL.

Park Vista North Hill is renovating the Memory Care Community within the site. This initiative, Paint to End Alzheimer's, is where they are working with local and community artists to express their talent while raising money for Alzheimer’s – an organization that hits close to home in our Memory Care communities. This event will feature 18 large scale murals of local landmarks and rural images across our two main Memory Care Community areas. Their landmark write ups will also create a more interactive space for the families, residents, visitors and team members to read through the landmark write ups, engage with each other on both the actual painting as well as the artistic movement behind it, as well as develop a greater understanding of the history and stories behind many of the places that represent our local community and landscape.

Additionally, multiple sensory stations have been set up to coincide with these sites and images for residents. These spaces invite residents to participate, engage, and express their interests in these Memory Care and dementia friendly stations. Some will be geared towards more sensory-related themes, while others will offer the opportunity for engagements, conversation, and expression through music, movement, imagery and physical connection.
