Rock Island High School, 1400 25th Ave. Rock Island, IL 61201, will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, August 6th at 2:30pm to celebrate their new Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Classroom. The INCubatoredu Entrepreneurship and Enterprise program at Rock Island High School introduces students to the exciting world of creating and owning their own business. Students will learn concepts and techniques for planning an innovative business and living the entrepreneurial lifestyle. With “learning by doing” as the goal, students will write a business plan and have a chance at “pitching” their business to potential investors. Students acquire foundational business concepts. Skills developed include: adaptability, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, and team building.
