Rock Island High School will host a ribbon cutting on Monday, February 6^th at 4:00 pm to celebrate their new expansion. The High School address is 1400 25^th Avenue in Rock Island.
 
The Rock Island High School expansion and renovation project includes a cafeteria overhaul with equipment, a commons addition, and secure entry features. Outside the high school, they have completed reconfigured sidewalk work, improved student drop off/pick up area, and other office renovations. A total of 38,000 square feet was renovated which includes an additional 13,250 square feet added to the existing Rock Island High School structure. Legat Architects designed the project and Bush Construction is the contractor.
