The Read Art Gallery/Scott Community College/Eastern Iowa Community Colleges will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM.  The Read Art Gallery is located in the Scott Community College Belmont Campus, outside of the library – 500 Belmont Rd in Riverdale, IA.
 
Read Art Gallery has been located in the SCC library until it found a new home in the Belmont Campus.  It will make its public debut on February 25, 2026 in this newly dedicated space, outside of the library.  The Read Art Gallery has hosted artist from the Quad Cities, Iowa City and beyond.  The Read Art Gallery will host student artists in its debut show and in April, will host a visiting artist.
